The Community Media Center is a Public, Education, and Government Media organization that provides a shared broadcast-production facility for five local television channels: Channel 18-Carroll Community College, Channel 19-the Public Access Channel, Channel 21-Board of Education Channel, Channel 23-Municipal Channel and Channel 24-the County Government Channel.

Carroll County Tourism Office
The Carroll County Tourism Office, under the Department of Economic Development, creates and implements strategies for the purpose of marketing Carroll County as a tourist destination to travelers who visit for recreational, leisure and business purposes. The Tourism Office also operates the Visitor Center in Westminster to provide information to travelers about the County’s attractions, accommodations, restaurants, history, events, activities, nature parks, and more.

Carroll County Farm Museum
The Carroll County Farm Museum opened in 1966 as the first museum of its kind id the state of Maryland. The Museum is an educational facility, created for the purpose of promoting the prestige and general welfare of Carroll County, circa 1850 to early 1900s, by fostering the preservation and proper appreciation of the rural culture of 19th Century Carroll County and the spirit and the values which this culture typifies.

Upfront Living History Group
The Upfront Living History Group a sincere passion for history. Most members are lifelong collectors of militaria as well as living historians. They have a wide range of historical interests that range from early America to World War II and beyond. They portray the American Military from the 16th Century – 20th Century. The group have participated in programs for National Historic Parks, The National Park Service, Museums, Schools and various Television and Movie projects. You might seethem at a living history event portraying WW1 Doughboys circa 1918 one weekend and the next weekend you might see them portraying a Naval Construction or Seabee crew circa 1944.
